On 23/01/2012, Frederic Bourgois, Frederic Dalimier and Alexandre Bacq from Xylowatt visited the SOFC pilot plant.

Xylowatt (www.xylowatt.com) is a Belgian company which designs, produces, installs and manages biomass gasification Combined Heat and Power Plants. Their main interest on the BIOCELL project was to identify possible synergies on the gas treatment technologies which could be suitable for biomass gasifiers. Moreover, they wanted to assess the possibilities and performance of fuel cells as a future alternative to the Internal Combustion Engines which they currently use.
